Doug Henderson, Pastor of Education, was born in Decatur and raised in a nearby small town, Cerro Gordo, IL . He is the youngest son of Pastor Michael and Tina Henderson.

Doug was called to the ministry October 2009. Since he heard the call he has been actively learning including studying course with the Koinonia Institute. Doug has a passion for teaching people to use the Word of God as a guide to their lives. He is active in and has a heart for the application and growth of youth, couples, discipleship and mission’s ministries.

Doug is happily married to Christine Henderson. Christine has a love for children and sees a great need for emphasis in children, youth and couples ministries. She has studied Elementary Education and Special Needs Education at Richland Community College to aide her ministry.  Doug and Christine have one son, Gabriel. They reside in Decatur, IL.
